At home engagement

This in-home engagement session felt so sentimental! I always love choosing a location that is special to my couples, so with this location being Amber + Michael’s home, the setting was perfection. Driving up to their cozy neighborhood not far from my own home gave me all the homey feels. I was greeted with the warmest smiles from Amber + Michael when I arrived . I honestly just wanted to curl up on their couch with a cup of tea, that’s how cozy their home felt. They showed me their newly renovated kitchen that they painted a dreamy blue + introduced me to their abundance of house plants.

We started our time together with the two of them snuggled on the couch with their pup Winnie, who of course stole the show. We continued with listening to John Mayer, while sipping from their favorite “Up” mugs. I think my favorite part of our time together though was listening to Michael play the piano and sing while Amber watched in awe. The sound of the piano truly filled their home with so much love. Of course we had to end our time together with a walk for Winnie on their beautiful street. We were even blessed with some falling snowflakes! I am so grateful that Amber + Michael welcomed me into their home. I cannot wait for their wedding this summer!
