Hardy Lake Winter Engagement

Oh boy! This was an engagement session for the books. I had visited Hardy Lake Provincial Park before to make sure it would be perfect for Kylee + Adams winter engagement, but it wasn’t until we were actually out together on the frozen lake that everything came together so beautifully. The stunning view that stretched down the open lake and the sound of silence made the chilly atmosphere so peaceful. I think we were all in awe of what we were getting to experience together. I could have stayed out there all evening. Something about sitting in silence and admiring the creation around me will always be something that I love.

Kylee + Adam had expressed to me how they enjoyed going on hikes around Muskoka together and that Hardy Lake was one of the trails they had visited before and loved. I was excited to hear how the trail was special to them and that it got to play a part in their engagement story. It felt like the beauty that the frozen lake had to offer was the best back drop to amplify Kylee + Adam’s story. It was great to see them both embrace the cold of a Muskoka winter together. They even threw off their jackets and ran through the snow together on the wide open lake without a care in the world.

Everything about this January evening seemed perfect. Getting to know both Kylee + Adam was an honour. I cannot wait for their wedding day this summer.
