Downtown Engagement

Being born and raised in Muskoka, I love every chance I get to document couples in the city. I’m in love with the architecture here + the hustle and bustle that adds some energy to the images. This engagement session location in particular was special because it’s where Nickeisha + Logan live. I will always suggest choosing a locations that holds a special place in your hearts.

When I arrived in the city I thought to myself “this is the first time I have ever walked the streets of Toronto by myself”. I’ve been to Toronto so many times but this was the first time I was facing the crowded streets alone. I was surprised at how peaceful it actually was + how it oddly enough felt quiet. I loved it. A change of scenery is always satisfying + exciting to get creative in.

Nickeisha + Logan met me on Front Street. We chatted for a bit then got right into it. We had to learn to ignore all the people walking by and pretend like it was just the three of us. Not giving a care in the world what anyone thought.

We carried on exploring the streets. Stopping along the way whenever we saw a pretty spot. We were even blessed with a delicate snowfall.

I feel so grateful that Nickeisha + Logan invited me into their big neighbourhood. I cannot wait for their wedding day this May.
