Sunset Beach maternity on Georgian bay

Photographing maternity sessions make me feel all the emotions. There is something so magical about documenting the beginning of a little life and the season that the parents are experiencing for a very small window of time. Everything feels so beautiful + serene. I just love it.

I met Marissa, James + their sweet pup Kobe by the water in the quiet town of Tiny. Barefoot together, we explored the boardwalk that led us to some sand dunes that we nestled in for some intimate portraits focused on Marissa’s baby bump of course. Kobe loved the camera + according to his parents is going to be the best big brother when baby arrives.

We ended our time in the waves of Georgian Bay. Marissa + James showed no hesitation jumping in fully clothed. I loved their carefree spirits + the love they already have for their baby.
