Sunny Wedding Day at the Barn 1906

A sunny wedding day from last summer at the Barn 1906. Surrounded by wide-open fields, sunshine, and the quiet charm of country life. This quaint farm in the country side of Bradford was the perfect backdrop for Rachel + Jonathans classic, August wedding day.

Starting the day with a slow morning in the farmhouse and ending with an electric dance party in the barn. Everything about this day felt warm, down-to-earth and simply beautiful, including Rachel + Jonathan themselves.

Getting ready moments

The Barn 1906 getting ready space is one of my favourite parts of this venue. Tucked away on the upper level of the farmhouse Rachel was easily hidden from the buzz of guests arriving and ceremony set up. Thanks to this sunny wedding day at the Barn 1906, the room was flooded with beautiful natural light all morning.

The Ceremony

The ceremony space at the Barn 1906 truely is a jaw dropper. The large trees framing the barn make for the perfectly rustic, picturesque backdrop to Rachel + Jonathans sunny wedding day cermeony. Cocktail hour was held just around the corner with continued countryside views.

Tip: putting aside 10 – 15 minutes after the ceremony to celebrate with your family and friends can make for some of the best candids of your entire day!

The Reception

From stunning hanging arrangements to table scapes, Rachel and Jonathan had white and dusty blue florals covering the entire barn for their intimate reception. Fairy lights complimented the barn giving that romantic, rustic atmosphere. Rachel and Jonathan let loose during their first dance, embracing their silliness and truely enjoying the night together.

Party Time

An electric dance floor to end the night. Rachel and Jonathan took all the shots, embraced the final moments with their friends and rocked their dance party sunnies. Glow sticks were given to all their guests to liven up the dance floor even more.

TIP: Giving props to your guests like light sticks, sunglasses, fun signs, bubble guns etc. will help get them get on the dance floor
