I met Amy + Brody on the shores of Port Sydney just before dawn when the sky was still soft and the air crisp. The two showed up in their grandpas vintage car, a true feeling of nostalgia to add to their images. My favourite part about sunrise is that we get to take advantage of an empty beach in the middle August. Thanks to a quiet morning, we got to drive the car right onto the sandy shore creating a scene from a Nicholas Sparks movie. Truly a photographers dream.

As the sun rose higher, the light grew warmer and more golden, and we finished the session with windswept hair and hearts full of excitement to be getting married. I’m lucky enough to be seeing these two again this year for their wedding day.
